We had gone to one garage for about 20 years for our Chevy pickup until the owner of that garage passed away. His daughter recommended Capitol Automotive since that is where she takes her vehicles. We had a great initial visit. They explained fully everything they did and kept us informed throughout the day. They did a complete inspection and performed all necessary services. We would highly recommend Capitol Automotive for work on any vehicles.

Front desk staff made it easy to ask questions, get work estimates and shop prices. Work was quickly scheduled and parts ordered for my repairs. Their location made it easy to get to/from my home within walking distance.

Took my truck in a few months back to change spark plugs and transmission fluid. They said a couple ignition coils were bad and replaced them. After they were done my car started having bad idle surges, I took it back in and they said an ignition coil was bad and found no other issues, but my truck still has really bad idle issues and I had zero issues with this before they worked on my truck. Really bummed with this place.

Had quite a bit of work done on my Acura, I thought I would be down a car for at least a week but they were very quick! Upfront about pricing, texting with the mechanic/shop was very convenient. Staff was kind, knowledgeable, and didn’t push me into extra services (which is important to a female with no vehicle experience). Thank you!

There was oil in the retainer cup below the new oil filter. I didn’t know if it was leaking or never cleaned out after my oil change. I wiped it dry and drove 4 short drives around town. No leaks so far. Hopefully all good.

Staff was friendly and explained everything with photos. My final bill was less than the estimate!

Was honest, quick and accurate. Great service with no upscale. Will use them again.
