Edit: so due to the repair quality I still give 1 star for my experience but 5 stars for their customer service. I spoke to Lisa and the issue has been resolved. So I had capitol auto work on my wife's jeep over winter while I was working. Rarely do we have shops touch our vehicles as we handle our own work, but due to unforseen circumstances we needed a shop to repair it. We had them perform a trans service and make lines for the transmission cooler and diag leaks. Well they said the leak was from a bad trans pan and cut and flared hard lines to repair the trans lines. Well we get recommended a BG brake fluid flush instead of the obvious brakes, tie rods, track bar, hubs and other things we knew needing done, but they marked as OK for their safety check. We take the vehicle back and not even 200 miles after leaving the shop we go up Spooner grade and smell ATF and the cab fills with smoke. Pull over and ATF is everywhere. Have it towed back to my house and look and see a NEW transmission line that wasn't flared and a cut hose spewing fluid. Called and they want me to use their tow service. I say ok and tried 3 times to get a tow to no avail. I patch the jeep up and drive it there safely. They proceed to fight me for the tow check, which they gave me eventually, and tell me they will clean it and repair it. I say ok. I get a call, after being in the shop not even 200miles before and told its fixed but there is another leak. After paying for leak diag on the 1st visit they tell me the neutral safety switch o ring is dumping fluid. They don't just fail someone missed it. I stead they tell me they can fix it for 2 hours of labor and $50 for a $15 part when I have it in for A TOWED COMEBACK. We get the jeep back and it's still covered in ATF. We washed it ourselves since someone can't do their job. Now being about 5 months later, we notice a drop under the jeep and it's more ATF. This time coming from the pan. They couldn't even seal a pan correctly. I spent almost 10years as a mechanic and this is the sloppiest work I've ever seen. I will never go back or recommend them to a soul. First 3 pics are how we got it back and last 6 pics are on 50 on the road.
Mike, thank you for updating the review and for taking the time to speak with you. As we discussed, I'm sorry we let you down and would have liked to have the opportunity to take a look at the vehicle, but completely understand why you would not want to bring it back after your experience. Having a repair fail is always a bad experience for both us and the customer and we apologize again for your experience with us. I know that even the full refund can't compensate you for the extra time you spent dealing with the subsequent breakdown and appreciate your understanding.
