We brought our car in for a transmission and radiator leak. They fixed both but it took a little longer since the wrong parts were sent the first time. Great service and they found some addition damage and repaired it at the same time. Will definitely keep using them for both our cars. Very friendly and professional.

This place is one of the best automotive places I’ve been to. Even my father who was a 30+ year mechanic likes this place. They give very detailed information on what they have done or needs to be with pictures. I recommend this place.

Initial call prompt, courteous, professional, appointment made within a week. I worked with John who kept me well informed of the repairs that were needed, pricing, and time repairs would be completed. The shop is well maintained and the employees are professional in attitude and appearance. The job on my vehicle was extensive and exceeded any and all expectations. I feel like I' am driving a brand new Expedition. I was thoroughly impressed by how clean and grease free my car was inside and out. (I have picked up my vehicle from other places sticking to grease on the steering wheel etc) I am sold on the professionalism and expertise of the employees who work for Capitol Automotive. I had a buyer pre-inspection done on a car I was looking in buy and they went through it thoroughly saved me for making a big mistake I would’ve bought a car that needed thousands of dollars worth of work. It was not hidden purposely by the dealer but they didn’t go through it in detail. The specialist at Capitol really looked at some of the damage behind some of the panels and took the extra time to inspected everything. I wished the car got a great approval grade but it failed miserably and I am happy to have spent the money and not be stuck with a 911 that needs a ton of shop time and parts it would’ve been more than 10 times the cost of my affordable pre-buyer inspection they did for me. I couldn’t be happier and sad at the same time that the car didn’t pass Well I won’t say that the car is an F but it was right there at a D in grade.

Very efficient process, staff is friendly and helpful. Not pushy with recommendations for repairs, seem very reasonable. It’s tricky evaluating a mechanic, they really can take advantage of you if they want, but I don’t get that vibe at all with these guys. I think you’re going to pay the going price for whatever work they do, so probably not a discount / bargain shop, but professionalism seems on point.
